Maybe there is a mistake in the term, in France this rod and also the adrena is defined as Medium Fast not Moderate Fast.
I own the adrena, and it is clearly not a moderate fast action and not a fast action but more a very nervous progressive action. Not sure what I say is clear

Re: Jackall Adrena
I own the 7.2 H. Very light and sensitive rod, with a very strong back bone, nevertheless it is more between a Medium Heavy power and Heavy rod than a true Heavy stick IMO. The japanese "Medium Fast" action is a bit unusual( I would better define it as a very nervous progressive action)... Especiall...

Re: STEEZ XBD FROG ROD : Your feedback?
Just to share with you 2 unexpected captures with my steez. In a pocket of open water I had a strange miss strike (I mean strange because usually I am able to recognize a bass or a pike strike even if I not see the fish) so I insisted a bit and had the pleasure to catch these 2 french perch (I don't...

Re: Reel for 1/2-2oz lures
As I said in my first message on this post a 200 size is the best choice for 1/2 to 2 oz lures. We have the same opinion
(But even a 50 size can do the job fine if needed I know it because I used to do it)

Re: Reel for 1/2-2oz lures
I used to fish pikes with 1/2 to 1 1/2oz spinnerbaits on a curado 51 with 0.19 power pro braid. It worked fine. http://img11.hostingpics.net/pics/26965920140811221741.jpg http://img11.hostingpics.net/pics/32055520140809212521.jpg http://img11.hostingpics.net/pics/49742620140806204408.jpg http://img1...

Re: Reel for 1/2-2oz lures
A shimano 200 size reel is enough for Northern pikes. Even a 50 size will do the job fine.

Re: Why Daiwa/Shimano/... don't use ceramic bearings?
Thanks guys. You are probably right, especially for entry level and medium range reel which target the "lambda" anglers. But considering Shimano / Daiwa propose year after year new technologies in order to improve the performance of their reels, it still seems strange to me they don't use ceramic BB...

Re: Why Daiwa/Shimano/... don't use ceramic bearings?
I was thinking such bearings were supposed to improve the casting distance as claimed in the test available on bocabearing site.

If not, what kind of benefits can we wait from hybrid ceramic bearings?

Re: Why Daiwa/Shimano/... don't use ceramic bearings?
Thanks.
A bit noisier / a few dollars costlier ... ok. But who care if you can really gain 20% of casting distance?
I mean lot of people seems to upgrade their reels with boca bearings.

Re: New baitcast rod
If you don t want to spend a lot of money, tatula rods have good reviews, abu garcia veritas also, Shimano crucial, dobyns, quantum ... There is so much choice on the market. All the brands make quality products nowadays.
The best advice would be to hold the rod in your hand before to buy it.

Sorry I had a technical issue to watch your video.
Well done Sir, really impressive performance.
Would be interesting to see what you can do with with the the same lure but with a spinning combo
