I'm a shorter person (5'8") so I like a shorter rod. I use a St Croix 6'8" medium xtra fast. By which ever model suits your budget.

I like my 7.5 for all my T-Rig applications.

Sunline Sniper is hands down the best line I have found for Cranking. 12lb unless square billing around cover then I go up to 18lb. This stuff is tough too. Just picked up some Trilene XL Flouro in 12lb at the Basspro Fishing Classic. Very limp and pliable line. Haven't got to fish it a whole lot so the verdict is still out on it's durability and strength.

Another vote for the Senko. Skips easy and just gets bit a lot.

In Dirty Water I always reach for the Havoc Subwoofer for my chatterbait trailers.
