Re: Any feedback on abu garcia revo beast reel?

Thanks ;)

But I am not really interested in the revo toro, it is a bit too big in hand for my taste.

Any feedback on abu garcia revo beast reel?

Hi guys, looking for a solid but not too heavy reel to fish big freshwater species with 1 to 3 oz lures

The revo beast seems fine to me.

Everything you could tell me about this reel will be appreciated before I make my visa card burn.

Closer to the reel foot better it is. No doubt about it.

Re: Catfish personnal record

Thanks. ;)

But to be honest, it is a good size fish but not a very big one. This species can mesure 8 feet long in France.

Re: Shimano 2013 Biomaster SW reels

A bit late sorry ...

Biomaster sw serie reels are good stuff from my experience with a good quality / price ratio. It is a popular model in France.

Re: Tatula knobs with carbon handle on ryoga 1016 L!!!

It is the blackops Ryoga version ;)

Why do you paint it? Just for esthetic reason or it had some scratches?

Which kind of paint did you use?

Thanks for the pics, nice collection.

Re: Do you still fish a med 6'6 fast rod?

I prefer longer rods, but a 6.6 rod is very practical in many situations, for exemple in a kayak or a bellyboat.
It is also easier to skipp a lure with a shorter rod than with a 7.4 rod. Shot rods are also very convenient for topwater or vertical metal jigs.

I am not a round reel guy but this one with the carbon handle is pure beauty.

Congrats.
