Re: Best all around crankbait rod in the $200 range?
I really like my 805 for deep diving cranks, length is great for casting distance and it is stout enough that you can work those deep divers without fighting them. 705 I use for bigger square bills, bigger medium depth divers, 1/2-3/4 spinner baits, and top waters like the 130 Whopper Plopper. The 7...

Re: New Livetarget Swimbaits
I now have a couple in hand that I purchased from TW. They look good. Can't get out and fish right now, but I hope to give them a shot in a couple of weeks.

Re: Megabass Magdraft?
I just got a 5" Magdraft and have throw it a few times, I thought it had decent action at a slow retrieve. It would start rolling if I retrieve it too fast. Makes me wonder how slow you have to fish the Magslow to get the right action. Anyway, no fish as of yet, just a couple of nips on the Magdraft...

Lucky Craft Flat DR - a good crank for the 8-10 foot zone and they had some great colors.

Re: Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon XL Professional Grade
I use Seaguar InvisX for spinning, I would have to see some comparisons of Berkley vs InvisX, if it compares favorably I would probably pick some up. Just hard to trust them after my negative experiences with Vanish.

I can't catch anything on the Duo Spybait, so it is hard for me to get excited about a new one.

Norman has been absorbed by Pradco, might be a good time to get any favorite colors before they disappear.

Re: keitech swim impact
I have been using Dirty Jigs HD swimbait heads for my Keitech fishing. The DJ heads have dual wire barb type deals that run along the top and bottom of the hook shank. Put some super glue on the shank, barbs, an back of the head, then thread the Keitech on. I have been getting multiple bass on them ...

Re: Zillion TWS
After reading the review it looks to be the only difference is the free floating spool in the Zillion TW compared to the Tat. I've got a Tat and a Zillion TW that I purchased at TW (hehe) for $199 on sale. Even at that reduced price, I question whether the Zillion is worth the extra coin over the pl...

Re: Yamamoto Senko laminated series
I have thrown a 5" Brown/Purple laminate a bit this spring on a c-rig. They seem to be about as durable as the solid color ones, which is to say not very durable. BUT, they do catch fish.

Re: NRX 852S questions
Might want to look at an 821 GLX Walleye Jig rod. I have one, and it is great for fishing 1/16 - 3/16 oz stuff. Even though it is labeled as a 'Walleye' rod, it works fine for bass. Tip is a bit forgiving, but not like a Drop shot rod.

I made about 3 casts with one, no wiggle whatsoever. Sure didn't swim like it did in the product video.soulfisher wrote:Anyone try these yet? Thanks
