Yes, makes sense, just not sure that you mean by "tight" (as in no movement/clicking, which i did, all the way to white-knuckling it until threads strip...). Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. Weird to me in that i cant figure out what the defect or problem is. Didnt know if it was something i could address with washers or lubrication. Will head the loctite route and hopefully keep it out of the bearings using your suggestion.

Tie 832 to flouro leaders. It's crazy strong; everything else fails before it does, it seems.

Uni knots for everthing else except palomar for drop shot.
