Re: TD-Z Owners Guild

That old lime green zpi spool is the sheet. I'm surprised no one has tried to powder coat or anodized a spool around here. When those painted zpi spools came out, I remember someone asking how much weight the paint would add. Only on here, lol.

Jackal Revoltage rods

Have you guys run across these? Looks like they line up above the BPM series and below the adrena. Jackal sure seems to have a great design team...these are sharp. That lock nut looks familiar. https://fishing.asian-portal.shop/category/select/pid/299774 A link to more models... https://fishing.asia...

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's

I'm down with some zillion porn. Somehow I ended up with 6 new zillions in the past two months. I'm worried they are going to quit making them, and they fit my long hands the best of any daiwa frame. I'll get some pics up soon...been busy harvesting.

Re: New Antares

I'm going to purchase this reel next month; my first shimano since the mg50. I don't mind a loaded bat...I feel I get better hook sets with a 7-8oz reel, and my already lightweight rods feel like they want to 'pop a wheelie' with a meatier reel. Speaking of the mg50; nobody griped about the fact it ...

Re: Poison Glorious XC 173MH-G

Thanks for the heads up. Ebay has 5 pages of glorious rods, so I'm not as limited on models as I first thought. I'll probably smoke on it...so u can make a 'clear headed' decision, lol.

Wow. My purple accented reels look 'missionary' compared to that rig. Well done.

Since there is already a thread going; anyone held or fished the 7'4" mh Biwako versatile-x?

Picked up a couple of the new limited g11012 7.3 zillion sv's from the asian portal. Kudos to the new tackle portal...ordered last friday and it arrived Wednesday.

Re: Steez RD 7011HRB and Luxxe Oltre B70H Rear Handle Lengths?

Just ordered a couple of those new limited zillion SV's from the asian fishing portal. I noticed they had the racing designs for a better price than most. They had the 6-3, 6-8, and 7' casting in stock. 701hrb was $747. Much better than digitaka's $885. Not sure about rod shipping there, but my reel...

Re: Rods/reels you regret not buying

When I was in college and getting into higher end gear around '01, I joined the forum and started visiting japan tackle. They had that custom td-z order page up with all those colors to choose from. $599 was almost laughable to me then. Things have changed. I'd like to have one in metallic pink. Hel...

Re: ICAST 2019

Has daiwa ever released/revamped a reel without someone on tackle tour knowing about it first? I dont believe so, and I've been around here since 2002. I'm thinking no zillion.

Re: '19 Steez ct sv tw

Well, at least your new spool will probably look great and be a quick sell if you decide not to keep it. I had the red rcs spool for my old purple alphas. I didn't notice any performance gain, but my eyes appreciated them.
