Re: Gotta give props to JPAngler

Rod was over 150cm so that had to ship UPS. They give all tracking info.

Re: Super Rekkai Opinions

Acknowledging that senstivity is subjective, for those of you that have used these sticks, how much of a difference in sensitivity did you notice between the phase III Bearing Down and the X7 Diablo Fast Move with jigs in the 3/8 to 1/2 oz range in light/moderate cover? It seems like the BD is the ...

Re: Zombie Rods, is the company struggling?

Used the 74MH for 2 seasons then got rid of it. Tried everything from moving baits to bottom contact presentations and everything in between. It's a decent enough rod for cranks. Personally not sure what all the hype was about. Had some nice design features and everyone talked about how balanced the...

Re: Daiwa Spinning

If you can get a hold of an older model Certate, get it. It is a solid reel with great drag, all you need to do is add knob bearings and a drag bearing. You can get one for about $200 that will perform better than the Ballistic. This. I have used a daiwa exceler 2000 and the new ballistics in 2000/...

Re: Abu Garcia 2013 JDM Morrum zx

I just posted a short reply in the reels section. Just got the 1601mag version last week. Only out once for a couple of hours with a 3/8 oz lipless crank on a MB destruction but seems solid and smooth, well constructed. It's 7.2 oz and certainly feels light and comfortable to palm (conquest 100 size...

Re: Anyone else as excited as me about Abu selling JDM in US

Just got a morrum 1601mag last week. I've only been able to use it briefly on a MB destruction with a 3/8 oz lipless crank. It seems solidly constructed closer in size to a 100 size vs 50. It casts very well and is smooth on the retrieve. Caught several smallies around 2 pounds without any issues. I...

It's your money. Spend it as you see fit. As for me, I'll spend it on JDM. :D

English 101? Hardly. But it would probably help you get an answer to your post if others could actually understand your question or read it to the end.

Re: Megabass Froggin Suggestion

I've used mine for a season now. The PV is a great frog rod especially for heavy cover. It's got a great tip without lacking power. I alternate between the Destruction and the PV depending on how thick the mats are. You will not be disappointed.

Agree with above posters. Benchmark for versatility along with 843/844glx. Mine's a dedicated spinnerbait rod.

Re: Conquest 51 falling out of favor?

There really isn't an application this reel doesn't do well. One of the best built and most versatile reels ever made imho. Like my 51 better than my 101dc.
