Re: Best 100$ to 200$ rods
Don't own any on the list but I'd go Zodias because they're damn sexy and those 7'6 glass and 7'5 flip frog models are tight

Re: Do you still fish a med 6'6 fast rod?
If you want it, that's good enough reason to buy it - the TT way! My love of JDM has brought several Daiko rods into my collection - including a 6'6 MH Burroughs and a 6'6 H Karisma. Leverage is a big one for this length - the Karisma is a pitching dream stick. The other thing I like about thi...

Re: Jackall Adrena
I have the 7'6 and it balances right at the front of the foregrip On which reel, how heavy? And what are your thoughts on the 2pc vs 1pc? Where is the joint at? I had the 7'6, and still have the 7'4. Both are 2 piece that are a non-issue, Im actually starting to prefer the JDM-style 2-piece because...

TD-Z drag star
I want to add a swept drag star to my TD-Zs, to allow for a swept handle. I have the drag star of a Zillion J-Dream, but don't know if it will fit. Will it? Do I have to make any adjustments/alterations? Any other options for a drag star for it? Thanks

MB Nautilus + Steez SV 105XHL
MB EVO Red Demon Ti + JDream 7.9
maybe doesn't cover all the techniques I fish, but these two definitely put some of the biggest smiles on my face when they're in hand.

For me the jump from Shimano to G Loomis was substantial, but the next jump from that to Megabass was final - its called the Dark Side for a reasonMothercanucker wrote:Only really used Shimano and St-Croix. Plan on Megabass and G-loomis in the future. Will probably sway me off Shimano.

I'll disregard the Daiwa-on-Shimano blasphemy this time because your set ups are super clean

Nice setup man!! It's always easier buying stuff during winter when you're not getting your line wet!!  I wish I was getting these out on the water, it's only a matter of time I know same here!! Re: Megabass telescopic rod
I was looking at the new lineup of destroyers, and this rod caught my attention: http://jpangler.com/index.php/rod/megabass/2016-new-destroyer-bait-casting/pre-order-megabass-2016-destroyer-f7-711x.html Its a 7'11", F7 flipping stick(swimbait?), but it says that its telescopic. I have never seen a ...

Very nice collection. With the discounts on MB at TackleTrap, this has been an expensive off season indeed (and we're not there yet). Too bad you're a Sens fan. Don't know who's going to finish worse this year - the Sens or my Habs? Sad situation for the Canadian Teams, none of the 7 teams are maki...

Wow another Burroughs owner! How is the 711H compared to your MB Heavy rods? I just picked up an Evoluzion Ti Red Demon myself this winter and tried mounting my my JDream 79 as you did. It felt ok and isn't final yet, but i might try a round reel. I find the Burroughs is slightly faster, especially...
