Re: Looking to rebuild crank supply
I like cranks between two and two and a half inches. Duo baits are sweet. For shallow cranks the offerings from Evolve are hard to beat. My favorite mid depth bait at the moment is the Spro little John MD.

Re: Winter Jerkbait Fishing
Be patient with your pauses and selective with your cadence. Much more of a versatile bait than some folks give credit for.

What is OYEN shipping?
I was set to order a two piece rod from Plat expecting the shipping method to be EMS. Upon finalizing the purchase it said the only shipping option available was OYEN. What is that? Is this EMS or something else? Thanks

I honestly don't think this is happening as much as you suspect. Pictures can be deceiving.

Oh and don't forget to order handle knob screws if you don't have any. I've never done that though

Re: td ito handle upgrade question
Order the handle collar that accommodates the drag star. I've found when putting swept handles on reels that original had straight handles, sometimes they required the thicker handle collar like the Zillion type r. Not sure why, but there wasn't enough clearance to get full drag rotation.

Any package over 150 cm in length can not ship EMS. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Re: RainShadow Eternity2 Rod Blank Info
Hey man. What is your 1st name? Just so if others or myself have questions we can address you as such rather than Batson guy. As I've stated before, I'm very pleased with my Rainshadow blanks. I've been looking to the jdm market for a couple 2 piece rods. I would much rather go custom, but I'm stuck...

Re: Shooter Defier and Defier Armillo differences?
Vinnie is spot on. 17 lb is overkill for jerkbait imo. I use 13. Armilo is a little slicker making it slightly more difficult to tie knots. What if I was using the same rod for cranks/topwaters/jerkbaits? I don't fish jerkbaits much, so I don't really want to get a different rod just for jerking. W...
