Re: A list of great spool swaps
Best spool change I have ever done was putting a TDZ 100M spool in the OG Zillion or OG Fuego. This completely transformed these reels and let me throw lighter weights. Another good change was putting the SV105 gold spools into OG Steez 103's. It tamed the reel to where I could cast it into the wind...

Re: Suggestions for dedicated chatterbait rod
I hate glass rods and was looking for a new chatterbait rod this season. I ended up getting a P5 Madbull and have been using it since early March. It's been working well so far. Most fish are hooked deep and the rod has a nice slow action which helps keep them pinned. I'm going to Maine for 2 weeks ...

KastKing KastPro 13X Finesse Braided Line Chartreuse
Has anyone used this line? It's a 13 strand braid so it peaked my interest.

Re: Googan Squad makes the best rods
If you are just getting into tackle Ali express might be a good way to pick up a couple rods cheap to get you started or if you are buying for a kid. Googans baits are very average and most of their rods are bad choices compared to many other brands. There are a decent amount of Youribe channels ou...

Re: Googan Squad makes the best rods
My 10 year old nephew loves the Googan Squad. He bought a bunch of their baits and catches fish on them. If they get him engaged and excited about fishing, I don't see the harm. They are obviously not after my demographic. A lot here are tackle enthusiasts and we make up about 0.000001 percent of th...

How is the handle when your hands get wet? Does it get slippery?JCBHatesFishing wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 8:47 amI don't use braid, but I've used the Madbull for it with 15# fluoro. Can even handle 3/4s ounce jackhammers and the new big blade chatterbait.

Which MB P5 rod excels at 1/2 oz chatterbaits
I currently use a MB X4 Destruction for throwing 1/2 oz chatterbaits but it will wear my wrist out after a couple days of use. Which rod in the MB P5 line works well with chatterbaits? Are there any other high end rods that work well with chatterbaits that you recommend? I normally use 50 to 65 lb b...

Re: What's it gonna be? 22 Stella or 22 Exist
With the 22 Exist JDM prices ranging from $731 to $872, I bet the USDM is in the $1000 range  I think folks will be pleasantly surprised with the reduced price gap between JDM and US models. Paired with the Executive Service on US models, it will certainly help domestic sales. That sounds po...

Re: Is gore Tex rain gear worth the extra $$
I have had a few rain suits over the last 10 years. The best one I have used so far is Cabela's Guidewear Xtreme with GORE-TEX. I purchased the bibs and jacket for around $500 last year. I've used it several times last season and it kept me bone dry. It's comfortable and breathable and I couldn't be...

What's it gonna be? 22 Stella or 22 Exist
I'm torn between which one to get. I have an 18 Exist and love it but the new Stella looks sweet. Is anyone else picking up either one of these. If so, why did you choose one over the other?

Another comparison: MB Lansat vs Steez Finesse Game Special
I'm looking at these 2 rods for dragging a dropshot in less then 10' of water with scattered grass. I usually have 1/4 oz or less weight plus plastic. MB P5 F3 611XS Landsat is rated 1/16 to 3/8. Steez AGS Finesse Game Special is rated 1/8 - 3/8. Let me know your experiences with both of these rods....

Re: NRX+ 822 DSR vs Steez AGS Med Lt Finesse Game Special
I should have included that I will just be using a drop shot with 1/8 oz weight and small plastic. Does either rod excel at this? I’m leaning towards the Steez, just want to make sure the sensitivity matches the NRX+. I catch them here where sand transitions to grass and I need a rod that can feel t...
