Re: Still in love with my 803!
Everyone seems to like longer rod over (7') nowadays. Bcr 803 6'8 is still perfect length for me. It's easier to handle and control. You just need both. When you want to cast and work baits...grab the 803. When you want to pitch a mile...grab the 893. You can underhand skip baits way under dock wit...

Re: Still in love with my 803!
I owned all the 2 and 3 powere bcr's at one point. I've since sold them, and my mbr's are all that remain. I definitely miss my 803 and 893's...they remain the most sensitive sticks I've fished to date.

Bass Craft
I'm a big squarebill guy, and I've been eyeing these for a while. I've heard claims that I'd sell my wec's if I tried one, and I figure with the TW sale I'd put my name on the backorder list. I thought I'd see If anyone here could verify it's status as being the sh!t.

You can buy the Droog at www.bassfishing-store.com.
Re: Archangel
I'll agree identical may be a strong word. The handle is what really made me raise my brow. That along with the fact they both were ready for purchase at the same time at roughly the same price. This is just break room talk though...just something to discuss.
Re: Archangel
Damn that looks real sexy, but i wonder why they decide to build it in Japan rather than USA or another country. Because made in japan=awesome. :D (And also- the archangel is identical to the diako droog rod- which leads me to believe diako made/collaborated on the rod, in Japan). Whoa dude...good ...

Surely they aren't releasing another compile x that still uses a 2008 design.E73Bass wrote:Perhaps Zillion Glass Rods and this STEEZ ROD..... ?doM Perry wrote:You never know what might pop up between now and Icast.

Re: Best All-around Pond Fishing Rod under $100
I go out on foot patrol a lot myself, and fish a couple of spots that sound similar to yours. Are you getting there early? That's when the bigger fish will be up cruising, and there usually aren't any competitors out yet. Pads on top or not, the legs of a horny toad will churn up a bruiser if any ar...

Re: newest Falcon lowrider feedback?
Looks appealing...more attractive than the burgundy of its 2.0 brother. I'd want to handle it though; I own a few t7's, but I've never handled a light power falcon. Buying a light power rod without handling would make me nervous, but those lure weights seem on the ml side.

Well that's badass. Pretty vigorous....

Re: NRX?
Will the 842 have a little more power then the 803 spinning? I see the rating on the 842c are a little higher lure/line weight then the 803s The 842 is a limber rod. The bait ratings are similar; but the 803 spinning feels more powerful. Bummer, what I want is a 803spinning rod into a longer castin...
