Re: Tatula Signature Series

i have the 7'1 h. it makes a very good frog rod, and it'll be fine for that range of jigs. i originally got it for jigs, but the 7'1 h steez xt i have is just a little softer, and works better for skipping 3/8oz.

Re: Tatula Signature Series

those 2 7'5 rods are pretty confusing on specs and description. for me, small jig would fall under a mh and football jig would fall under h power. i am thinking about picking up the h power rod for 1/2oz + jigs & c-rigs. i've been using a 7'4 steez xt frog rod, but think i'd like to try something di...

Re: Tatula Signature Series

figured they were going with the air sensor seat. i'm not a fan of it for moving baits.
they also ditched the ags guide models all together

I see more good things coming from Daiwa rods...
you think you could tell them to make a line of rods for moving baits that have a more comfortable reel seat than the air sensor? that thing kills my fingers after a day on a good spinnerbait bite

Re: Tatula Signature Series

i'm pretty sure most of the rods from overseas are all put together like a 2 pc rod. the handle assembly & blanks are put together on seperate lines, then they joint them together. i think that's why they have bling on them. kinda like capenters putting trim in homes they build, to cover up things. ...

Re: Honest opinions...is BFS really worth trying?

i planned on getting more into bfs and purchased a few things, but i've ended up not using it as much as i thought i would. i'm also not using spinning gear as much as i used to. i've went to more of a bubba bfs set up. i'm using the mmh tatula elite rod, steez ct reel with 10# fc. i throw 3/16oz ji...

Re: Chris Johnston Rod

i contacted american legacy about a tat elite rod this morning, and they told me they had pulled them from their sire til next month because daiwa was supposed to send them a bunch for a 12 days of christmad sale. we should be seeing revamped rods during classic week lol i hope they're not going to ...

Re: Chris Johnston Rod

there's a post on seth feider's instagram with a silver spinning rod with cork. if you click thru the pics, the last one is apparently a buddy of his with a rod laying down. it may just be an old tdx rod, but it is full cork.

Re: Daiwa Rebellion Rods

i haven't used the glass rods, but i have the 6'10 mh regular. i really like the way the blank performs, but the reel seat is not comfortable to me.

Re: Who still makes titanium spinnerbaits?

jann's netcreaft has 3/8oz titanium spinnerbait heads. it says you have to heat them up when making the swivel loop. that sounds like a real trial & error thing to me, and they're $3 a pop

Re: Compact Spinnerbaits for smallies

i just got in a couple of the zman power finesse spinnerbaits, and they look good. i got the 3/8oz indiana/colorado combination, but just ordered 3 of the double willows. these baits are available in 1/4oz also. i've been trying to get a nice compact bait, that has the super stainless wire. i had t...

Idk about you all but, I don't think I have ever seen companies jumping on a trend such as BFS. Seems like every rod company has someone tripping over their words about BFS and how it is "the newest trend in fishing".
i'm glad they are finally coming out with something!

Those new tatula xt’s look like a lot of rod for a hundred bucks. Might be a winner at that price.
they dropped the ags seat, which is why i never tried them
