i have the 7'1 h. it makes a very good frog rod, and it'll be fine for that range of jigs. i originally got it for jigs, but the 7'1 h steez xt i have is just a little softer, and works better for skipping 3/8oz.

there's a post on seth feider's instagram with a silver spinning rod with cork. if you click thru the pics, the last one is apparently a buddy of his with a rod laying down. it may just be an old tdx rod, but it is full cork.

jann's netcreaft has 3/8oz titanium spinnerbait heads. it says you have to heat them up when making the swivel loop. that sounds like a real trial & error thing to me, and they're $3 a pop

Idk about you all but, I don't think I have ever seen companies jumping on a trend such as BFS. Seems like every rod company has someone tripping over their words about BFS and how it is "the newest trend in fishing".
