I would agree with the above stated that a kayak allowing you to stand is something to consider. 5+ hours sitting is rough on a lower back. Plus all of the added advantages of fishing while standing. I recently bought and sold a couple of these reels. One was well worn and sold for 60, the other was in great shape and went for 80. It's a great workhorse reel.

You guys come out with a spinning reel version of your concept a or c (lightweight and tough as nails), I will most likely own an entire lineup of 13 rods and reels.
