The Stradic CI4 FA is 5.8oz.
The overall size of the Stradic is larger than the 500 size Nasci and for my tastes, feels like it is too big for the Trapara.

Re: Best combo for $200-$300
I have the exact Trapara Bryin linked and I have the Ci41000....but.......I don't have them paired together. My feeling is that the Trapara dictates a smaller reel to remain slightly more balanced..it is a fairly whippy UL rod....I run a Nasci 13 500HG on mine and it is really good. and costs 100.00...

I love catching monster gills in my farm pond. Almost a much as catching giant bass.

The new review: Major Craft Corkish CKS 652L
Major Craft Corkish CKS-652L 2pcs Spinning Rod I've been a fan of JDM fishing tackle for a long time. It started with reels like Shimano's Scorpion and Antares and then the Aldabarran. It slowly progressed to Japan only soft plastics from companies like Osprey, Ever Green and Lake Police......(Jacka...

I'm more interested in learning what 2lb line you are using. I can't seem to find one that doesn't break when I cinch the knot down.

Re: any feedback on the American Presso PSO562ULFS
I will have a review of the Major Craft Corkish CKS-652 up by this weekend. Might be right up your alley......coincidentally, the Presso is for my pond on my property in NC.

Re: any feedback on the American Presso PSO562ULFS
I picked one up and I have to say, it is pretty impressive. I really love my Major Craft rods but I think I will give this one the nod over my Sol Para 562 SUL which is a real buggy whip. The Presso has a faster action and might be more in tune to how I prefer to fish. I really like the finish on th...

any feedback on the American Presso PSO562ULFS
This would be the 5-6 2pc UL PSO562ULFS. I can snatch one up for a decent price. Just would like to know if it is a decent rod and how it might compare to maybe a Bass Para. I use mostly Major Craft stuff for my lighter rods and am in the market for a cheaper rod to leave at the cabin. The Presso lo...

Re: Review: Major Craft Basspara 6-6 ULS
I have not had that experience with any of the Major Craft rods. I think you must have got a bad guide on yours because these Ul rods dictate the use of light lines. 4lb is pretty much standard.

MAJOR CRAFT BENEYRO
I just picked up a new MAJOR CRAFT BENEYRO BNC-682MH 6'8" really, really cheap, less than 50.00.......I just don't know much about it though. But, my experience with this brand has been great, in fact at one time I was so against 2pc rods that I wouldn't consider owning one.......I've sold off many ...

Re: Which Corzza
I've got 8 or 9 different Major Craft rods. I have 2 Go Emotion 652 ULBFS rods. On one I have an Aldabarran 51 and on the other I run a Scorpion 1001 4X4 SVS it has a carbon drag and upgraded bearings. I fish Crankbaits with the Scorp. and Ned Rig's with the Aldabarran. The action, in my opinion I g...

-2 (to uljersey and allsorts ;) ) The OP asked about BFS BC tackle. He never made this into a spinning vs BC thing. I am sure he is knows about "the laws of physics", and that spinning gear in many fishing situations would be the rational choice. I like reading threads about how light you can go wi...

Re: basspara vs presso
I like Major Craft rods a lot. I have a Basspara BPS662 UL and I love it. I got the whole thing shipped from Japan for 80.00. I have it matched up with a Symetre 750 and usually use 4lb line on it. It excels at most of my ul applications. I also have a Sol Para 632 SUL and a Corkish CKS652. The SUL ...
