Re: someone please explain this hook keeper to me
baik, i understand the location of the hook keeper, just not the orientation of it. it seems to me that if it were facing the other way, you could still run a hook point through the open loop OR just up against the post. [/quote] Right, the orientation makes no sense , unless you have tension , som...

Re: 2016 New Steez?
i kinda wish they'd bring back some of that funk they used to have with their colors like the orange, yellow, red, silver pixy. have a little fun. bring back a little spice. So do I. The 2000~2010 seemed to be the most exciting years to me. But then now we have Megabass doing the blingbling variant...

Re: Is NRX line to be refreshed soon?
They should release the green line with better guides and full grip and leave the black/blue rods with the recoils Agree that different guides and full cork is a good choice for those that want it. Simply enough done. But what "better" guides do you expect? Torzite? I have to assume you don't like ...

Re: Would you ever buy a Quantum over Shim/Daiwa/Abu
I have an exo 300 for pike but prefer my Abu toros in that reel class. Daiwa and shimano don't really offer anything int that size of reel other than the curado 300 but that limits you to one reel speed which isn't a great speed for overall muskie sizes baits. The conquest is an option but is price...

Re: What's your favorite Liberto PIXY (w/poll)
In stock form, I like the PX type R because it's basically a pixilla. The airy red and yellow are cool if pixilla'd just for cool factor. Upgrades are allowed, otherwise Type R, PX68 and the SPR are too superior to the older stock Pixy's with their crappy drag etc. What's wrong with the drag if the...
