It's a good spool, just not a long caster, at least for me.

The stock spool in the IP68 is not giving me the distance I would like. Looking for a " long bomb" spool for 6xd, 8xd etc.

Yup, the harder you cast, the inductor flies all the way into mags, slowing the spool way down. Some of the springs on the SV inductors are way tooo soft.

The T3 1016 spool is a classic and the FX73SV spool is pretty great as well. Off topic, sorry, but: What do you use the T3 1016 spool for? If you're staying with Dobyns, go with the Xtasy, I have the 755, works well with 3/4 and up. The tip seems a little slower, so I have to put some smoke on it for a solid hookset, but the fish stay pinned.
