Ultima and Designo would both be at the top of my list. Designo is a blank manufacturer that used to make blanks for companies like Evergreen (anyone remember the triggerless Stingray model? ).

Some parts yes, others no. For the most part like said above, buying a donor reel is your best bet.

With custom painting you can expect to add very little market value to your reel imo. Its more for personal taste.
