p5 wind buster or steez 76 mml
this fall or winter im looking at getting a new rod, and its probably going to be one of these 2, the megabass destroyer p5 wind buster or the new steez 76 mml "the one". main use of the rod will be for 2.5-4" swimbaits (large size spread but hoping it feels ok with the 2.5 and excels at the 3.5-4")...

Re: Daiwa Exist 18
One pro to the exsit is the insane usa warranty , which is LIFETIME warranty on any defects which includes FREE lifetime service/clean of the reel as well. Thats why i want one for inshore use, i'll use the Airity for freshwater. This alone is worth the price difference in comparison to Luvias Airt...

Re: Daiwa Exist 18
but with this exist being the first off the specific platform i wouldnt imagine it would be a major update when they do, more or less and incremental upgrade. Wouldn't that argue for a major redesign since it was the first MQ freshwater platform? Esp now that the Luvias Airity is basically a carbon...

no idea when there will be a new one, but with this exist being the first off the specific platform i wouldnt imagine it would be a major update when they do, more or less and incremental upgrade. i dont own the current exist, the prvious zaion model, and they are amazing reels, super smooth, super ...

Re: Flyssa Vs Baby Plugging?
so i just got my baby plugging, but i am impressed so far. there is nothing to the rod, really, 3 little cork rings and a skeleton reel seat, and not much for bling, but thats awesome in my opinion! i always liked the looks of the old shimano cumara spinning rods, and this is pretty similar (better ...

Re: Recommend a 2nd spinning rod? medium light 7ish' $300-$400
spend a couple extra bucks (420ish) and get a st croix legend elite 610mlxf, i have 2 of those (and the 610mxf) and absolutely love them. they work great for anything open hook (small swimbaits on a jighead, drop shot, ned, etc). i personally have 6 of the legend elite spiining rods and they are all...

Re: USDM Destroyers are getting a refresh
I heard that the P5 would show up in USDM tapers but not until late 2021. Maybe that is what this is in reference to? I've been hoping for this to add a P5 spinning rod to the arsenal. I'd love to see models along the lines of the flyssa and addermine in P5. i have the flyssa and love it, never add...

Re: Certate handle
you can use a screw in handle from pretty much any other daiwa, or get an aftermarket handle from a company like gomexus, or some of the other companies that make them.

Re: 19 Certate vs 21 (new) Exsence
Once you get into this class of reels, both manufacturers produce awesome products. Their smoothness is just incredible. The way I see it is this - going up the Shimano lineup you get incremental advances, whereas the Daiwa monocoque METAL reels (Certate/Exist and now Luvias Airity) is sort of a re...

Re: New lures in your box 2021
man that those rapala shadow rap solid shad would probably be awesome for some early spring walleye fishing, use a lot of #5 shallow shad raps and they catch fish but always looking for something a little different, might have to find some to buy! might try to countdown elite too.
