Re: My 2013 Starting Lineup
It's been documented many times that A. Martens and Shin Fukae use shimano reels. I've seen Aaron use CH50mg and Stella. Shin uses all JDM Shimano, for spinning he uses a Vanquish. He even has the Yumeya stands for them. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8100/8638957872_f102d39f58_z.jpg I was thinking ...

Re: MB f4-610GT3 purple dragon
I'm not even sure where you could find one... :-k These older rods from the Megabass are real classics and have a lot more of a Megabass feel to it then the new ones you see today. The new ones will probably have better sensitivity and actions due to advancements in blank technology but that's all I...

Re: Luck E Strike Stick
Thank you confirming, that I'm right. I think in every case it is just pure decency to buy the original than the impostor. Yuki Ito worked very hard to develop his company and his baits are the essence of his passion for fishing, for someone to outright copy them with cheaper components is despicab...

Re: MB FX Knuckle
I've caught a few on the knuckle but that was near the end of the bass season here in MN..... btw it doesn't work    You mean the adjustable lip? I found that on the shallow adjustment I couldn't get get it to wade as advertised... But maybe I have to use their line to get the same r...

Re: Where do u predict new world record bass.....
I would argue that , less predators means more small bass fighting for food supply :D From my knowledge, although I may be wrong, as you go farther and farther north, the Bass tend to get smaller. This is due to the fact that competition for food gets larger and larger. For example, down in Florida...

Re: Megabass X4 vs X7 buy now or wait
I was contemplating waiting on the x7's too. Megabass states the x4 blank is 40 ton/46 ton, right? I can't imagine needing or wanting better. That's awesome graphite. Any higher and I think durability would be compromised. I'd go with the x4 or phase 3 rods with the warranty now, no question. The n...

Re: Megabass X4 vs X7 buy now or wait
Got it out for a cast yesterday afternoon actually, really nice to use. The quality is nothing short of great, but what else would you expect from Megabass. I have a Monoblock 100xr on it, feels good with a round reel, and balances up well for my feel with 200g sitting on it. I had never had micro ...
