Re: Ultralight Soft Baits
If the Berkley Power Micro Nymphs work as well for bass as they did for some stocked rainbows this winter, this summer will be fun on UL

Re: What is thr monetary value of your fishing collection?
A tad over $1K myself, I only have a few rods I use, a decent amount of tackle, and a portable fish finder for ice fishing (which will be used for regular fishing purposes once I do get a boat).

As long as they are being harvested and not just getting thrown on shore because they're gar I'm fine with that They'll gladly chew up an original floater though, or a skitter walk

How about fish with some serious teeth to them Something along the lines of topwaters/super shallow baits would be nice, although the Japan idea is really good as well.

I will add that the St.Croix is pretty noodly for a fast action. I think you can pick one up at BPS in Vaughan for I think around $150 taxes included (this obviously depends on whether or not you can drive there)

Subwalk, it's caught my biggest crappie, walleye, and two biggest pike. I have caught OOS bass on it too, I've never really thrown it for them though.

That'll work, most people cast that stuff on UL gear.
Just a 7' St.Croix Avid UL spinning with a Shimano Sedona 750FB reel and 4lb mono for me.

Re: Biggest Fish You've Caught on UL Tackle
Biggest UL fish I've caught is a 20" pike on a 1" Williams Wabler (the last spring i had my Compre UL). However later that year in the fall I had a much larger pike on (mid 30's) on a dink 5' rod, however the pike naturally found the line and got a tooth on it (however I was able to raise it out of ...
