Everything I have seen says long stoke spool. Basically an aluminum Stella is what they are saying.

Wish I had a place to handle mid-high end gear around Spokane. Noone carries the good stuff here.

Never handled an 802S JWR rod would it be a good light smallmouth tube rod vs the SJR 782S?

Are the JWR noticeably stiffer across the series vs the MBR and SJR rods?

Dang is this true? I too was thinking the 1000/2000 were long stoke.

The Shimano website I thought only excluded the 500; but could be wrong info.

Someone will confirm when these start shipping.

Is the Vanford 1000 and C2000 spools the same diameter and the C2000 is just deeper?

Hoping the 2000 is like the old 2000 size which is larger in diameter than the 1000.
