I'm not sure on which Daiwa rod can handle the 10XD but out in falcon I was using a custom Phenix X13 and it handled it awesome. The 6XD looks so tiny after tossing the 10XD a few times lol

Is there any other way to rig up a "split shot rig" without using a split shot? I'm just not confident with squeezing a split shot to my 4lbs test and having it fail when I hook up to a 4 or 5 pounder. I'm actually looking for an easier or faster way to do it. My favorite deep cranking rod and very versatile. You could even use it for shallow cranks if you wanted to. It handles any crank you can throw at it. I was using the x-13 to toss the new strike king 10xd on falcon and the rod didn't even blink. I love it so much I have 2
