Re: Chronarch E vs Chronarch CI4
The issue was the spool lip would start corroding. I believe they have fixed the problem, my new spools have been corrosion free. Frame is fine, will never corrode and have no problems with any other parts on the reel. I do like my Ci4s more than my E series. The Ci4 feels more powerful when fighti...

Re: Chronarch E vs Chronarch CI4
A lot more people seem to like the CI4+. It's about an ounce lighter, has x-ship and one more bearing than the 51E. I was in the same boat not too long ago but I've heard that for whatever reason, the CI4+ didn't fare too well in saltwater (CI4+ is obviously corrosion free so it must be the steel c...

Re: Cork Handle Cleaning
http://realcorkfloors.com/cork-oak/art-of-harvesting I know corks coming out from Portugal are generally good quality but I find it odd that on the website, they say "Almost like giving the tree a haircut, cork bark is removed from the tree only when the time is right. A tree is first stripped when...

Re: Post Your weirdest catch ever
When I was way younger we used to do a lot of fishing in the smaller creeks near home. A buddy and myself were fishing by wading in one of these creeks, and were catching a few smallmouth. We got to the point that we had agreed to stop at, and climbed out at a bridge. After we got out we were just ...

Re: Cork Handle Cleaning
This new cork they're using is definitely spongier than any I've had in the past, and worse quality. Cork is getting worse every year. The best old growth trees just aren't around any longer. Portugal had a big fire quite a few years back that really hurt the market as well. Some of my mid range co...

http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab194/seadrive90/IMG_4524.jpg This is the NC-65L, the lightest model in the series. At 129g, it isn't exactly a very light rod when it's rated for just 1/8-1/4oz lures but it balances perfectly with a reel weighted 160g and below. Cheers! Nice colors, love the pea...
