Re: Gamma Fluoro and CoPoly

edge is expensive however if line diameter isn’t a factor and you do a lot of flipping or just need the toughest nastiest flours out there. gamma !! It’s pretty brutal especially if your abusive with line it’s waaaay more forgiving.

How do you know a rod is a demo ? Are they marked in some way? I’ve bought demo rods and reels and haven’t noticed anything.

Re: New Powell Endurance line coming

The trigger looked a little thicker which resembles the pac bay real seats and they aren’t as comfortable in my hands anyway I stand corrected and I’m definitely interested now. I have the previous endurance model 775 I think it is and it’s a grea...

Re: Buzzbait Setup

You can use mono or you can use braid, but don't use mono and braid. No leaders with buzzers. It's really not necessary your just adding an extra knot to the equation and because it's a moving/reaction bait fish aren't going to see your line before it's too late anyway.

Re: New Powell Endurance line coming

Upon further inspection it looks they are using the generic ECS reel seats.... Crap !!! Can't rod Companies just spend a cpl extra bucks and use the real thing ? Heck even Duckett Went back to using genuine Fugi ECS reel seats.

Re: Chap stick on your line for Knots.

I think reel magic has a silicone base so started using it to cinch down all or most of my braid knots and it really works well especially when cinching shark knots or Snelling. So I'm sure it would work great tying a leader with braid. Otherwise spit for mono or flouro works fine.

Re: Garlic-Scented Plastics -- Any Good?

Besides power bait I only use 3 other brands Gambler, chompers, and lake fork all of which have garlic(especially chompers) I catch most of my bass on ....I may not catch as many as most but works for me
