Re: Shimano October Release Predictions
No idea. But what I'd like to see, a lower priced 50/51 size reel. Perhaps in the Citica family. Wish they would have just made a Citica 50/51E. They would have sold like hotcakes. Yeah that would be cool, I have a chronarch 50 and three citica 200e's. Would love to have a couple more chronarchs, b...

Re: Rod Overboard!!!... Wow, it floats.
Never seen a rod + reel float, but have seen rods float. Have also seen one of my friends take a rat-l-trap to the ear lobe...not pretty. Wow same thing happened to me. This was back in my 80's long hair days, and I thought it was stuck in my hair at first. Didnt take long to realize that wasnt the ...

Re: Fenwick Aetos A701MHFC Initial Thoughts
I have two of these rods, both casting. Both of my rods have a front lockdown collar that is cork and must be turned to tighten the reel to the seat. I have had one since before they became available in stores here(it was warranty replacement). The other I just got about a month ago. I really like ...

Re: SKIRT COLLAR MELTING
Yep. Tie with wire and throw the skirt collar away. :D Seriously, it's very easy to wire tie. Just pick up a spool of hobby wire at hobby lobby. Pick your color. Take a 4-5 inch piece of wire. Wrap twice just behind the skirt collar. I use a pair of needle nose visegrips to grab the two loose ends,...

Re: Chronarch E Handle Replacement
I put a Curado 300E handle on one of my Chronarch E7's but I have never measured the handle. I don't know exactly how long it is. I just know it is bigger. I tried to put the grips from the Chronarch handle onto the new handle but they didn't fit. If I remember correctly, it would only take 1 beari...

Re: Ordered a pair of Maui Jims.... Revised post
For me it is Costas 580G or nothing. I have 3 different pairs and have never had an issue,so the warranty doesn't really concern me. I have two pairs of the harpoon with different lenses, and a pair of fathoms. These glasses are so good my wife wore a pair of mine in the keys in Florida, and I had to ...
