It would probably depend on the lure weight. But yeah the stock Metanium spool is freakin awesome. The casting range on it is ridiculous. It will cast 1/8th and up with ease. The BFS Spool is probably going to win in the distance department with lighter lures 1/4 and under? I use a lot of 3/16oz LC...
