Re: Poison Ultima 7'M or 6'10M

I have never used it, but have heard from quite a few guys that the wx8 is a better braid in every way. Upgrade has higher strength to diameter ratio than WX8. WX8 has nicer coating though. So it's...

I am using YGK Super Jigman X8 for spinning, and WX8 Full Drag for casting. Clearly superior to all of the braids I have tried.

Re: Fishing Industry Tackle Sales
Shimano and Daiwa are publicly traded corporations so their yearly earnings are available online. Everything else are guesses, because they are not required to submit any information to the public.

Also very weedless, but it can be annoying to pull off. It doesn't come off the hook if you do it well though.

Met 13 or MGL. I just think they feel the most comfortable using all day in any applications and have/will have a lot of spool options.

Re: 2016 Vanquish
Got my C2000HGS today. The reel is freaken light at 155g, so you might think its just a cheap toy, but one turn of the handle will blow your mind. It is Stella smooth with X-Ship and Micromodule Gears, ultra rigid construction, but it doesn't have Stella level where it feels like it wants to keep go...

Re: Poison Adrena or Orochi XX
Adrena definitely has nicer feel to it than the XX. I think they are lighter in general.
