Re: Megabass Destroyer P5 decision help
I'm also considering the killer code for large topwater and magnum squarebill duties. Don't need a p5 caliber rod for these techniques, but the exchange rate has the p5's going for under $300 on several models. I'm looking to pick up a couple/few of what I consider niche models.

Someone on here owns the badger. I remember it being talked about a year or 2 ago. Hang in there...or just buy

Re: Okuma X-series
A YT'er out in East Tennessee made a video review of a ML spinning X-Series, although he never mentioned the model of the rod, and IMO, didn't provide any true insight and compelling thoughts on this rod. FWIW: https://youtu.be/cKf3LIiqcdY?si=NaLqX8f6Zp-GLAQ1 This guy is sponsored by Okuma?! This g...

Re: ML bottom contact rod recommedation
If you can find a used one the Sedition Cristobal is a top notch mag Ml rod with incredible feel, balance, cosmetics and length. It casts incredibly well baits in that 1/4 to 3/8 oz range such as 1/4 jig with a trailer. https://i.postimg.cc/ZqDHjJHx/0-C81-D793-43-E2-4150-933-E-AA04533-DF375.jpg htt...

Rattlesnakes FTW. I've run into a couple of folks fishing the geecrack bellows stick that hadn't heard of the rattlesnake. I'm like "They are the OG ribbed stickbait and half the price of the geecrack."

Re: Okuma X-series
Anybody try these? The T1100g incorporated into the blank,at that price point, has me intrigued. TW is claiming Toray 46T. It sounds good, but I know it's all about the resin recipe. 13 fishing's envy 3 is claiming the same thing. Yes...another rod I'd like to try. I'm a rod-aholic no doubt 8-)

Re: TD-Z Owners Guild
Daiwa TD-Z Small Bait Special. IMG_8749.jpeg That's a rare spool. I have that exact spool in an IP68 for pitching and skipping weightless plastics on a gen 1 PP. Does an excellent job. He believes it to be Rays which I would agree. You are probably thinking of the MB honeycomb 36 mm spool. Which in...

I'd shop the Rays long cast spools on aliexpress. I have a couple in my tat 100's and they are nice.

Love my 16 Zillions. I prefer their narrower frame versus the new lower and wider frames Daiwa has gone to.

Re: Jackall Revoltage
Tackle Haven seems to be the only place to get many of the JDM rods. With $100 shipping, I just wait until I can buy a minimum of two models. I've thought about emailing JLS to see if he is getting them in.
