My votes for the staysee, when the bass are deep right after ice out the LC is killer on frigid bass

Re: Hello everyone. From Tampa Florida
I am surprised none of the many artists on this site didn't write back on this post. If you look through this forum you'll find many examples of painted baits. When you find them, send personal messages to them and ask your questions. Good Luck.

Re: Chatterbait trailer selection
I usually have a keitech easy shiner attached to the back of my chatters, but I'm psyched to try the new Yama swimbait, (Zeko?) I saw reviews on TW that they were made for fishing on the back of chatterbaits. We'll see!

Re: 6th Sense lures?
I bought quite a few baits from them before they blew up. mostly the wannabe 110's. I had them custom paint a bunch in my favorite retired and near impossible to find mossback color which are really nice. Quality stuff for sure. Give'em a try

Thanks, guys. I am a big fan, Smalljaw. Most of the finesse and hair jigs I tie are ones I watched you tie on youtube.

Re: Favorite finesse jigs
I make my own. Simple round or football. I tie some sort of hair under the silicone, I find that makes a big difference here in my high pressured waters. Bucktail, rabbit, marabou or fox. I'm confident only my friends and family and a few paying customers are the only ones throwing a jig with such a...

Do you prefer umbrella skirts?
I've been experimenting tying jigs that have that umbrella look, but not sure I like it. Do you prefer umbrella or normal skirts and for which baits. Any feedback would be helpful
