Rod sensitivity subjective? Absolutely.

I can put braid on a rhino 33 seated on an ugly stick and make it as sensitive as any $700-1000 rod I have :)

Re: New fish species on my personal list in fresh water

Theres a lot of those tilapia where I live. I could never get them to bite on any lure. Ive caught a bunch; snagging them on a crankbait, though. They can get really big, and can put up a good fight, especially when snagged on the tail, Lol. I agree, those are ono' delicious!, and a good source of o...

Re: Is79 and rod overboard

OOPS!  I was ready to take a swim, but it was winter, and it was too deep. I thought, no way the...

Re: 2017: Favorite Technique to Catch Bass

Jig fishing has to be my all around fav technique. But that heart skipping topwater action is addicting, when in season.

Actually, my favorite technique is to wait..... till summer..... early in the morning; it really doesn't matter what you use :P

Just an awesome set up, AussieB. Frogs/Toy machines are hard to source, and even harder, their lures.

Are you sure you want to fish them? Lol. Sure you do =D>

Re: Casting Rods... What will you spend?

I really like to keep my rods around the 300-600 range. But wont hesitate to spend more if the monkey goes crazy. I do have ceiling of 1000$. But most high end bass rods that aren't 'custom/made to order", rarely hit over the 1K mark. Id like to go custom, but neither have the inclination or ti...
