Re: NRX foregrip problem

Not the case, with no stop, . no reel in the seat and people continuing to crank it down ...it splits Bronze, You are thinking like I was at first....There was no reel in the seat and yet people continued to crank it down..That is why it was silly me.....I agree with you on the WC, just wanted to l...

Re: NRX foregrip problem

Silly me I am trying to think after you put your reel in the seat and secured it why would you continue to crank it down. Not the case, with no stop, no reel in the seat and people continuing to crank it down ...it splits. So now there is a stop and a composite foregrip which is stronger. One more ...

Re: Dobyns DX705c vs Loomis BCR 855 GLX

I love the BCR 855 GLX! I often use it in a very similar way - 20lb FC with a pegged beaver or paca craw around heavy wood cover - pitching and even some light flipping and it works like a charm. Even a pegged paca craw with a 1/4 oz tungesten weight isn't too light to fish with the 855 when paired ...

Re: BCR852 GLX

I certainly wouldn't consider the BCR 852 GLX "whippy" at all. It's a great finesse jig and worm stick - makes a great 1/4 oz jig and T-rig rod and is very sensitive as well. It makes a sweet "bigger" shakey head rod in deeper water as well. I do agree though, the 893 is certainly in the zone in bot...

Re: g loomis NRX worth $450+?

Are they worth the price? Only the individual buyer can determine where quality, price, and performance meet to create value in any item. For some, customs are the way to go and for others a different brand. I have quite a few NRX rods now and have been fishing them since they first came out. I am l...

Re: NRX foregrip problem

I have several NRX rods with the natural cork foregrip. I've been fishing them hard since they first became available this past fall. I have had no issues at all with the cork splitting. If it does, I'm certain Loomis will stand behind their products as they always have.

Re: Kevin VanDam Line and Lure Conditioner

Seems to help out on spinning gear enough to use it occasionally when using mono on spinning gear. I haven't really noticed much difference when using it on FC lines. A buddy of mine uses it regularly on just about all his combos - BC and spinning gear - and he swears by it.

Re: TN Smallie...

That beauty came from Fort Loudoun/Tellico (Knoxville area) - I cant wait for the cold weather when those beauties are more plentiful - Don't get me wrong, I love the green monsters, too - but there's nothing like the bronzebacks for me. I really liked her color scheme so I wanted to share... thanks...
