Re: Traning S.H.I.T.

Memo To All Fisherman: In order to ensure your most enjoyable fishing experience, be certain not to forget the collection of SERIOUSLY HYPER INTOXICATING TACKLE (S.H.I.T.). We must drive the economy and lift this country out of it’s doldrums through the accumulation of our S.H.I.T.. In turn, ...

Year End Thoughts... what were your favorites?

As the year draws to an end for many of us and the holidays quickly approach, it's time to give thanks and reflect on the many tackle acquisitions we made this year :D I'd like to give thanks for venues such as this where I can not only share my addiction to quality gear, but also spread it at a rap...

Re: Carp on Plastic!

I sense a revolution about to occur. Forget the custom made bait balls. So far this year, we have reports of carp on topwater lures, crankbaits, and now plastics from California to Pennsylvania to Virginia! These fish must be evolving into more aggressive carnivores ready to take over our lakes, riv...

Nice fish Ez!

But boy.. judging the quality of fish you guys have been pulling from the golf course, I'd almost call that thing a dink! ;) heh heh

At the same time, gimme a "dink" that size anyday

Re: Lake Camanche 10/18, 10/24

Kodiak, Sorry you had such a tough time. But I suggest you not give up on this lake. It is one of the best lakes we have here in Northern California because of those very "ugly" features to which you were referring. Imagine, all those stick ups, rock piles, islands, etc. being under water and imagin...

Re: Daiwa Fuego review (updated with pics)

I'd like to see TT review this reel as I'm just a rookie when it comes to high-end tackle. I'm sure there are a number of areas I didn't cover and wouldn't notice. Hey Z-Man, is that a lefty you bought? cool! If you can part with it for about three or four months, go ahead and send it to TT Headqua...

Re: HORNY TOAD

Hey KBT, I've used the all the colors you just mentioned along with the yellow, black and white. My most productive color this past summer seemed to be the watermelon with red or just the plain ole white. I prefer the white for on top presentations just for visibility. The yellow is good for that to...
