Re: kistler warranty on Helium 2
Sorry this late. I send them a Helium 2 to put micro-guides on and they really messed it up. That being said they found me a brand new one and gave me 50% off a Helium Spinning rod. If there is a new one out there they will find it. Was happy with the way they took care of me.

Re: Help finding a rod for heavy poppers?
I just got the Kistler 7' 6" Ala rig rod and the action is great. I thought the moderate action might be too soft, it is not soft by any means. I can think of a lot of big bait applications for this rod.

Re: Kistler Alabama Rig Rod
Rob, Do you think this rod would work well for big topwater lures ( over 2 ozs) with braided line.

Kistler Alabama Rig Rod
Looking at their 7 6 Al Rig Rod. This rod has a moderate action. What do you guys think of this action for A-rigs? I already own a bunch of Kistler rods, and love them. Mostly interested in what action to use.

Re: Crankbait/Topwater Rod Suggestion
I have a Dobyns Champ 705CB that will throw a 5/8 oz Gaint Dog X a country mile. I use it for Mid-depht crankbaits and its excellant at that, also. A slight departure... How is the 705CB throwing lite lures, say 1/4 and 3/8 ??? I use a Powell medium 704CB to throw lighter crankbaits. Didn't like it...

Re: Top water rod for poppers
Thanks for all the comments. Thinking about Dobyns Champion 684 fast or moderate fast. Can use it for jerkbates in cold water and topwater in warm water. Fits my price range, too. Would you go for fast or moderate fast.

Looking for pitching reels for Dobyns 735C & 736C, thinking about Daiwa T3 or Daiwa Coastal both highspeeds.
