Re: Aussie pride
That looks spectacular! Might be the one interline to have! Nice work keeping the line out of mouth/gill rakes! It does look spectacular. But that is not an interline rod. Megabass did dip their toe into interline rods with their DirectZ line - the F2-70xsd, the F3-710xsd and an eging rod (CD-84m)....

Re: Daiwa T3 air knobs? Can they be had?
Resurrecting this- since I cant seem to find these anywhere- I see you can order at Plat the whole handle- but I just want knobs- any body have a idea where to source these? The Daiwa parts catalog only offers the knobs as part of the handle assembly (on both the T3 Air and Ignis Type R models) at ...

Re: Orochi XX Japan Edition
Bump- does anyone know if these new models will appear in the jdm xx lineup yet? I want that swimbait rod but the US version uses semi-micro guides  I can't have that on a swimbait rod. I can't confirm whether or not the Japan edition line-up will include the new models (although if I were a b...

Re: Shimano Stella Fi, any reviews?
I presume the OP was asking about the Morethan spin reel. They have been available here in Australia for a short while. I have not used one due to stocking up on Stella FEs when they were on special. The original Morethans had mixed reviews here when used in saltwater but were fine (more than fine)...

Re: new MB black jungle rod- the Nephilm!
Not to hijack, but of the rods listed in the links above the one that has my interest is the double bull. Would love to try that with my exsence dc for Carolina rigs, flutter spoons, and flipping. Anyone have experience with it? None of those rods are out yet as far as I know. Here in the states, G...

Re: SS Air vs T3 Air?
Don't forget that the T3 Air also has Mag 3D. I'm very happy with my T3 Airs, which I picked up before the SS series was announced. I think the SS may appeal to those who prefer "metal" over a "plastic" frame, or are prone to closing the hood mid-cast. I think the conventional line guide may pass a ...

Re: Advice: T3 Sv or T3-1016 with RCS100 spool
Not to be overlooked is the fact that the 8.1 models come with longer handles. I did wonder about the design differences between my FX68 vs. T3 SV frames. I wonder which one is superior and what design problems it solves? One other thing - I notice that the paint on one of my SV reel feet is prone ...

Re: Ordering rods through Rakuten Global.
Rakuten doesn't ship rods - it's basically a marketplace. It's up to the individual web stores to ship what they sell.bassm1n wrote:What type of container does Rakuten use to ship rods.
I agree that Proshop K's packaging leaves much to be desired. Fortunately, the contents have always arrived intact.

Can anyone tell me how many dollars one set of those graphite guides cost? oe those are proprietary guides....the carbon fibre not graphite They are proprietary, but apparently they can be licensed. APIA SPARTA is using them on a line of rods - the Foojin' Z: http://www.spartas.jp/product/rod/fooji...
