I do it all the time out here on the West Coast in salt water. For Largemouth Bass fishing it probably split right about down the middle between 10 and 12 lb. test. These two line weights encompass 90% + of my bass fishing needs. The few exceptions are going down in weight for some fineness needs (D-Shot, etc.) or up in weight for some power needs (A-Rigs, etc.).

Out of all the ones I have used so far (about a 1/2 dozen +) my vote goes for Sunline Sniper. It really is just an all around great line.
