Re: Best reel cleaning oil & grease?
I use ardent reel butter and yellow rocket fuel for the bearings.

Haha, Good stuff. My "old" stuff is a couple of Loomis IMX rods. These aren't the weibe ones, they are right after the weibes went away. I bought them when I was in high school about 10 years ago. They have served me well over the last 10 years. Caught countless fish on them and won alot of money. I...

Re: shimano chronarch D bearings
I have 4 D7's. One of which has the upgraded Orange seals. I can definatley tellt he difference in the one with the upgraded bearings. That said, the factory bearings are still very nice. But them orange seals are money well spent IMO....

Re: NRX 803s & NRX 852s
I recently bought an NRX852S and I love it. I have a Stradic SI4 on it. I bought it mainly to throw a 1/4 oz jighead pushed through a 4" tube for open water/ledge smallie fishing. Yesterday I was out and it was real windy with 40 mph gusts. I had to keep my rod pointed down to keep the bow out of my...

Re: Curado or Core.
I have had several cores, but not the 50. I also have a couple of E50 Curados, and I really enjoy them. I have one of them on a MBR782 GLX for jerkbaits and it throws them a country mile. I'd also go with Curado...with upgraded bearings.
