Re: Preferred Shaky Head Worm? Is Floating Necessary?

Never hear anything about these(small company) but I've been using them for a few years now and they work great.

Question on Kistler magnesium rods.

Been looking into picking up a 6"8" to 7' rod for jerkbaits and have been looking at Med action Kistler magnesiums for sale on here, EBAY and a couple other forums. My question is, are they discontinued or is there problems with them because it seems a lot of folks seem to have them for sale. Just w...

Re: Alabama Rig

No it cannot be used in Champlain. The dec official didn't make any distinctions of the shared water vs ny only area. They just said it is illegal to use in Champlain per the special regulations and legal to use anywhere else in ny per the general regulations. This is true, but with a catch. I spok...

Re: Alabama Rig

I just checked the NY DEC website the other day and the way I read it you can only have a max of 2 baits or lures per line so its not legal here anyway, not that it will stop people from using it here. People ignore half the laws anyway and there arent enough DEC staff in this state to monitor squa...

Boomerang tools "The Snip" Tool.

Anyone out there try this line cutter yet. The couple of videos i've seen look like it works well, but they always do. Always looking for a decent line cutter thats compact and easy to use. This looks like it fills the bill if it actually works as advertised.

Fake Lucky Craft Baits??

Hey guys. Just curious, since some of you guys are a lot better at identifying baits than I am. Take a look at this link to and EBAY auction. The center 2 rows of cranks look like fakes to me. The paint schemes are different and the diving lips are painted, which I've never seen on Lucky Craft baits...

Re: Trouble Staying hooked up on Hollow Body Frogs!

thanks for all the good tips guys, I'll have to try concentrating on them. Unfortunately the new rod is not in the cards right now. Unfortunately I can't afford to buy more than one $200 to $300 rod every year or so.

Trouble Staying hooked up on Hollow Body Frogs!

Hey guys need some input. I was on a 4 day fishing trip last week and spent a lot of time throwing hollow bodied frogs into the slop. I was having a lot of problems staying hooked up, and lost a couple of nice fish. I would wait the obligatory time, set the hook, and feel the weight of the fish. The...

Hey guys, Are there any good bass fishing magazines that you guys know of out there? i get Bassmaster and In- Fisherman. I get Field and Stream and Outdoor Life, but I actually don't have a lot of interest in reading about hunting, which takes up most of the year with those two. I'm looking for some...

Just saw Van Dam using the EXO during the telecast of the Elite Series All Star. Didn't know what it was but it looked cool so I looked it up. Neat looking piece of hardware.

I have a Daiwa Megaforce with the Twitcin bar that I bought because it was attached to a Powell Max rod as a combo. Got a good deal and it hasn't been all that bad.
