Re: What's your favorite Liberto PIXY (w/poll)

Voted Red. Only because I have nothing to compare it to performance-wise.
Actually , it looks the best. Got that going for it to.

Re: Would you ever buy a Quantum over Shim/Daiwa/Abu

I have an exo 300 for pike but prefer my Abu toros in that reel class. Daiwa and shimano don't really offer anything int that size of reel other than the curado 300 but that limits you to one reel speed which isn't a great speed for overall muskie sizes baits. The conquest is an option but is price...

Re: Would you ever buy a Quantum over Shim/Daiwa/Abu

Had a buddy who really loved his 300 Exo for muskie. Picked up a used Exo 100 for $55, had to try it. It is a good working reel, although it falls at the bottom of my group of reels as far as preferences go , compared to my Shimano , Daiwa and Abus. Which is one reason the 100 ended up being my reel...

On the opposite end of skiing bass on 80lb braid...
One of the reasons I have not gone full blow BFS on a few of my doable reels is the fact that I flyfish and I set aside the crazy tiny/light 'baits' for that.

Re: New Orvis Muskie and King Salmon Rod

Thanks guys.
I thought the ZGs and ZG Helios were unbeatable. The Helios 2 is mind blowing.
Got supplies for making shooting heads for this weight on the way.

Now we are getting closer to what your budget is ...
Going down to 1/10 th of an oz easily without any trouble will eliminate a bunch of stock spools and stock bearings.

Re: Megabass Happy Bag Special

It doesn't matter anymore since the clearance is sold out. I have both the Rosso and Viola with Red/Purple SV105 spools and love them dearly. Not sure what the shipping was for you guys, but I would be willing to bet that the guy who has had them on Ebay for quite some time at $220 would be willing...

Re: Baitcaster for light lures

What exactly is your budget , and how light a weight do you want to cast?
It's mainly all spool and bearings in almost any frame . Lots of cool used frames out there.
