It if looks straight then more than likely the weight inside is off center. Your best bet is to contact Matt directly and tell him the problem, he will more than likely ask you to send him the bait for a replacement.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, i'm leaning towards the MG7 just because the techniques that i plan to use this combo for are better suited for a faster reel.
