Have a look at Bazuka variable tubes, KIS cases or Plano variable tubes. I have one of each, and they are all bomb proof.

I've just started using SealSkinz. They're waterproof, tight fitting and warm. Look at the review here.

I got my first MB, the F2-64XS Ltd, last week. Love it, and its a dream to use.

Stunning is the only way to describe the Megabass products.

I make all my own traces using a 10" length of coated, 7 strand steel wire. A 70lb swivel at one end and a Middy 70lb sea snap at the other.

I wouldn't dream of piking without a steel or Ti trace.

I have a Calais 201A on order as my do it all reel. It'll be used 99% for piking, throwing lures 1/2oz and above.
