Re: Green NRX vs Blue NRX
The green look nice but I'll continue buying "Blue" NRX rods. They will still be available at all retailers still I believe...At least here in Canada we will still be ordering them. I don't like the new color...doesn't match my 7'3 or 7'1

My First Daiwa rod :)
Hey guys, well long story short I got this rod at a steal of a deal today and it's very different than my Loomis stuff but I'll give it a chance. Anyway it's a Daiwa Zillion 8'MH Swimbait rod and I love how long the handle is and how light the rod it's self is. Here are some pics...not sure what ree...

Re: Enter to see the "new" Green Loomis NRX's
the resins in the nrx blanks already keep them stronger than the starndard graphite blank... i've not had a single rod rash mark on any of my nrx blanks since i started using them.... however, none of them had much use before the reel seats fell off of them.... x2 on boat rash. No nicks on my NRX a...

Re: Enter to see the "new" Green Loomis NRX's
Ok guys so back to the NRX part of this thread. I got to play around with these new "Green" NRX rods in store and I like them. They now have the entire blank covered in shiny graphite or some type of rod blank finish. Anyway they seem a little balanced out to the tip and seem to fall tip down making...

Re: Enter to see the "new" Green Loomis NRX's
Basically. Keeping the 100MG but getting rid of the flipping switch in exchange for a normal Core thumb bar. I like the idea of a 100 size fast core...would be nicer to have more line cap over the 50mg

Re: Enter to see the "new" Green Loomis NRX's
Shimano is going all over the place now. There use to be a time when getting a "Curado" was a step up to a real quality reel. Not anymore with the new Curado reels released by Shimano. The "Citica" baitcaster took a nose dive as well. I am not sure what to think of the new rod lineup and this NRX ch...

Re: NRX FOREGRIP PROBLEM POLL
Bought my first 2 month's ago, the 7'1H and have tightened it down quite abit being a hvy cover guy i have had reels break the seat in the past. I put this rod under some mighty hooksets and a dozen days on the water so far and no problems. Next is the 7'5 MH....I the things I'm going to put this ro...

Re: 893 nrx vs. 783 glx
The 893 NRX at first feel is light and whippy, but that will only fool you.I use it for bttm contact mostly and go as high as 3/4 oz. jigs. For me their is not a better 1/2oz football jig rod going.I like it so much i pitch and flip with it as well.Insane sensitivity comfortable to fish. What else is ...
