Re: Dobyns DX701C and Inshore Fun
That's a legit fish on that rod, must have been a great fight! =D> I was debating on getting that rod a while back... now I have to debate on getting it again! I know some forum members probably think I am crazy for using such a light rod to go after Redfish, but it is an excellent rod for throwing...

Re: Dobyns DX701C and Inshore Fun
All of my inshore fishing takes place on the middle to upper Texas Gulf Coast with occasional trips over to Louisiana. All of these fish were caught on 5" Gulp Jerk Shads or Texas Tackle Factory Red Killers or Hackberry Hustlers rigged on 1/8 oz lead heads. From late March through November I almost ...

Dobyns DX701C and Inshore Fun
I posted these before the crash, but thought I would put them back up again. Here are a few pictures of Redfish I have caught over the last few months on my Dobyns DX701C. I have it paired with a Curado 51E strung with YoZuri Hybrid 10lb. First two are typical small Reds I caught fishing some bayous...

Very nice collection with all handles on the correct side. Who did the clean and lube work for you?

Re: Thoughts on Microguides
I have a custom built on a St. Croix 5S66MLF rod with micro guides and a Dobyns DX701C and DX702C with guides that may not technically qualify as micros but are definitely smaller than normal sized guides. These smaller guides definitely lighten up the rod and help with balance. The only downside I ...

Re: Chronarch D7
I have fished everything from 10 lb to 15 lb copoly on this reel. Right now I have it mounted on my MBR783 with YoZuri Hybrid 15lb. I have been using it to throw 3/8 oz jigs.

Re: TT Forums are back
BUMMER! A big Thank you to you and the rest of the TackleTour crew for getting the forum back up and running. I felt lost for the last few days. I originally joined in Sept 08 and had around 190 posts at the time of the crash. Do we still need to have 100 posts to list items for sale in the for sale...
