That's a great fish Dan. Do you have a remote control for your camera, or is it set up on a timer? I fish alone sometimes and struggle taking pics unless I lay them down and I really don't like doing that.

I also agree on more of the mid-range price gear. I'm a single parent, with no help from the ex-wife, and while I'd love to own all high end stuff it's just not possible.

Letting us TT members chime in is a great idea.

I just got a new stx (thanks D.R.) and really like it a lot. This first trip out with it was a very windy day, 20 mph with 30 mph gusts and I never got one backlash! It's smooth, cast great and is very palmable.
