I have both the Calais & Antares DC reels and they are very smooth. I do not notice a weight difference between the 2.

Like Gorilla Style I am waiting for I-Cast to see what shakes out. Being left-handed I don't expect much & will probley end up with the Scorpion DC. Please post what you think about it after some more use.

I need another reel like I need a hole in the head but I almost went for a left-handed Scorpion DC. Then I decided to wait for i-cast to see if there is a left-handed reel that will interest me.

I have a Minn Kota MK-460 which I have no problems with.

I have had one for several years now with no problems. I use to throw weightless Senko's. Parts could be a problem.

I use a Antares AR 99% of the time, but I agree with M.Hood on the Calais DC-7 for high speed. Just make sure you are using a good spinnerbait so it does not roll on you.

I don't think we can. I had mine over 500 & then saw something that said, if you not said something it was to late.
