Those look sweet! I have been making my own from old spinnerbaits, or a jig with a spinner arm attached to the eye. I add beads, and use different lengths for the arm, I really like the prop jig, fun lure.

I own 2 now, the 7'3" med casting and 7'1" med/hvy spinning. These are my favorite rods right now, I dont own a Megabass rod, but have almost every other brand going, and the 13 fishing are awesome for the $$

I have a bunch and I love them. The lip has held up for me, I use the 2/3oz ones, not sure if thats the MR55. I actually have good luck throwing them over the top of submerged weeds, they will tend to get hung up in wood or weeds, but they make such a racket and have fat enough profile that the fish...

If your worried about losing them in brush, try the Academy h2o squarebill, great lure for the money.

I do like both of those baits, and would chose the jackall if I had to, but the lure your forgetting about is the smashminnow, super action and suspends perfectly, I think it's the predecessor of the squadminnow.
