Thanks for the info. It's a 7.3:1 gear ratio and ticks one time with one full turn of the handle. I'll try to pinpoint the bad teeth and see if it can be worked out. It wasn't like this before the service but I won't say the tuning damaged it.

I have 10lb j-braid on a shimano Brenious and connect it to 8lb fluoro leader. I love it. Same line setup on a spinning combo and don't love it so much.

I use my Tatula hd in the 6.3:1 ratio for swimbaits and a-rigs up to 3 ounces and 20 lb mono. I have had zero issues concerning power or line capacity. It fits the bill perfectly. I also have. Lexa 300 but I like the Tatula had much more for the weight range.
