I've tweeked all my setups to be "the one"...

My nitro is narrow on the bow so I only tend to have 2-4 rods out at one time max, rest are in the rod locker... i use a rod buckle and have never lost a rod.. and if i did, I would be going swimming..

I would agree with some on this post, it is equal to me 50/50 that a reel & rod both need to compliment each other as per casting distance. A reel may be a little more important such as spool bearing type which can help with casting distance significantly.

This happens to me ever once in a while but after some use it all straightens out.

I went from 16 great setups to 10 ridiculous setups.. Theres no reason for me to have 16 setups when my boat only fits 12 at once and i can only use 1 reel at a time lol..

More money on a reel over a rod any day!
