Re: 2024 Releases/Rumors
Why did it took them almost half a decade to add dc brakes into a 2020 reel? Its not like they had to build a brand new frame and a digital braking system.

Re: Ryoga 1016H (Black) gear set
Ryoga 2020 has the smallest gears? Now that's interesting.BARRAMANIAC wrote: ↑Fri Jan 05, 2024 9:12 pmNope, not a chance. The Z2020 and Z200 gears a quite a bit larger than the Ryoga 1016 gears and even larger than the Ryoga 2020 gears.

Re: DRT rods, tho
The same could be said for their swimbaits. I had a couple variations and never caught a single fish on either of them. On the upside, I was able to sell them for a profit. Their products are legit not hype, dedicate a whole season/year to fishing the TK and learn to fish it. Bruh... On another not...

Re: All new steez sv tw
Mine just arrived and man this thing is tiny compared to 16 Steez. Palms amazing well, just a little wider than an Alphas SV TW. I'm not sure how it compares to a Steez CT, since I don't have one. do you happen to have the 21 zillion? how does it palm compare to it? from the looks of it, they seem ...

Re: All new steez sv tw
My hope is that in a year or two, they release a 34mm steez like the steez a hlc has the 36mm vs the 34mm that's on the standard steez a. If they do this, i will 100% buy it cuz i can easily tell the reel gonna be a banger, but if they don't, i will ignore it like a new steez was never released. I a...

Re: All new steez sv tw
Looks like a super comfy reel to palm, but the 32mm spools are a deal breaker. I have no interest of ever using a steez reel, and not being able to use my slp1010, rcs1060, zpi spools and so on. Having to use a wrench to adjust the cast control cap is beyond stupidity. And yes, i know, you don't nee...

Re: Studio Composite rods
Used mine a bunch since i purchased it. Cought a couple of muskies and a few smallies in the low 20's with it. Easiest 10/10 rod in a long while for me. I just ordered the 7103-5 model, plan on using it as a do everything rod for when I travel. What have you been throwing on yours? I use mine prima...

Re: What's the most you would pay for a used rod?
The only used rods that i'd be willing to shell a decent amount of $$$ for is the Megabass line of rods from the mid 2000's, and that's because they all look like pieces of art, not fishing rods.

13Fishing Jabber Jaw cranks and El Diablo lipless cranks
Never bought any lures from 13fishing, but these look as good as your JDM lures from Jackall. Found them on clearance for $3-3.50 each, so obviously had to grab em for the amazing price, but can't use them this year since its freezing outside. Are they as good as they look?

Re: Who even buys Quantum reels these days?
The only Quantum reel that was worth it: Yea back in the early to mid 2000's, Quantum did have a few reels that were good. Same thing with Pflueger. Even up close, the reels looked sharp, with well machined parts, but if you look at both brands nowadays, they look worse than $100 ali reels. Typical...

Re: Studio Composite rods
Transworld and Paradox series? Not sure where you’re looking but they have lots of bass rods all the way down to M to MH-type rods (1 to 3 power). To me the 7606-5 fishes more like a USDM X-heavy cover flip/frog/punch type rod and it’s on the extreme light end of the swimbait rod spectrum. It CAN l...
