Every once in a while I go to TW website, open up the Shimano casting reels, and just drool over the 50. At 7.5 oz, I could easily fish it all day.
It looks like a finely engineered machine.
My birthday's coming up in August (hint, hint).

Re: More Bang for the Buck : The Shimano SLX DC Baitcaster Series
Cal,
Why do you think this reel only has 5 ball bearings? I know, many years ago, Shimano said their manuf. tolerances were so close that more ball bearings weren't needed, but they now have 11 bearings in their flagship reels, so what has changed?

Re: Taking Some Time with a Jr. Clone by Skinny Bear Baits
I'm glad you did this review. Back in '05, when the Specialty baits came out, I bought three, and then put them aside because Lucky Craft has some awesome baits that I began throwing on a regular basis.
I just rediscovered them in an old plano, and I'll take them for a swim soon.
Thank you.

Re: Purple Reign : Phenix's Reinvigorated M1 is a Winner
So the new M1 actually still uses the same Nanolite resins. The carbon fiber is actually a new upgraded scrim. Things like Carbon Fiber and resins seem to advance as much as cell phones and other gadgets. There’s always something new and improved, and the raw materials used on the new M1 fit that m...

Cal,
Covering ICAST looks like a lot of hard work. If you ever need someone to carry your bags, let me know.

Re: Another Explosive, if not Diminutive Bait from Missile Baits : The Bomb Shot
Looks like it will blow-up plenty of upper Mississippi River smallmouth bass (and eyez); my namesake! "eyez" aka walleyes. I absolutely love catching 'eyes on artificials/techniques primarily utilized by bass folks. 8-) Forgive what might be a dumb question, but I've never fished for wall...

Cal,
Since it's a two piece bait, does it swim with the same S shape as two piece glide baits?
