That's exactly what I did. I sent it to Trey, he broke it down, cleaned and upgraded it then and sent it to get painted.

Swept is the way to go no doubt. I had a straight on there and it just didn't look right.

Honestly all I have read and seem on the perfecta series has been more than positive except for the reel seat. Everybody says the perfects perform way above their price point. Looks like they are upping their game.

Unfortunately I think the zillion will be gone because the t wing design is probably going to be the daiwa standard. I wish one could simply keep the Zillion frame and shape and just add the twing line guide since the zillions are the most comfortable reel for me. I sold the tatula before casting it...

Well the spool itself has a capacity 105 meters of 10lb line so it isn't super shallow. I think that's actually right around the same capacity as the original spool. It is lighter so I thought it would be better for pitching than the stock spool.

I love red reels as I think the go with dx's really well. Though I did just buy a purple hedgehog kit for my chronarch d. And I can't wait lol
